Enquiry form. Your name, company, email address, telephone number if you give it, the option you choose to describe yourself, and your message.
Correspondence. What you tell us when we reply to your enquiry or discuss a possible business relationship with you.
Website visits. Our website platform, Squarespace, automatically collects technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the website that referred you. We do not use advertising or tracking services.

Please do not send identity documents, financial account details or other sensitive information through this website.

To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible business relationship.
To make an introduction you have asked for or agreed to.
To manage and keep records of our business relationships, including activity statements and invoices.

Why we are allowed to use it

We use your information because you have asked us to respond to your enquiry, to take steps you have asked for before entering into an arrangement, to manage an arrangement we have with you or your organisation, to meet our legal obligations, and, where the law that applies allows it, for our legitimate interest in running and securing our business and website. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

Our website platform, Squarespace, which hosts the website, keeps a copy of each enquiry form submission and sends it to us by email.
Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that enquiry form submissions come from a person rather than an automated program. To do this, Google processes technical information about your device and how you use the form.
Our email provider, Google Workspace, which hosts our email.
Professional advisers, such as our accountants and lawyers, where needed.
A provider or partner you have asked to be introduced to, or have agreed to be introduced to. We share only what the introduction needs.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Torus is based in the United Arab Emirates. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and used in the UAE. Squarespace and Google may process information in other countries, including the United States, under their own data protection terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: up to 12 months after our last contact with you.
Records of business relationships, including correspondence, activity statements and invoices: for as long as accounting, tax and other legal rules require.
Website technical data: for the periods set by Squarespace.

Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies that are necessary for it to work, for example to keep it secure and to protect the enquiry form against misuse, which includes Google reCAPTCHA. We have switched off non-essential cookies, so there is nothing to accept or decline. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
